Custom Cutting Millworks, Inc. is a second generation family business. It began in 1979 in the family garage as a project to earn a little extra money. From there it has grown into a bustling enterprise that has passed from father to son, and developed into a even larger and grander dream in the making. CCM initially offered services only to local lumber yards. Eventually, mouldings were offered and have become a staple of the business. CCM not only offers sales and services to Oklahoma and the surrounding region, but now through the internet sells its products to customers from coast to coast.

Custom Cutting is vigilantly reaching toward the future. With each passing year, goals achieved are laid aside to reach towards new ones. Its owners are constantly looking for ways not just to be bigger, but more importantly to be better.

CCM is a 2nd generation company started by my father as a legacy. His desire was to build a well-established business and a market based company. As a boy in 1979, I started working with my dad at CCMI. I started by sweeping the floors and cleaning the bathrooms. In 1994 my dad took a much less active role in CCMI to let my wife and I begin taking the reigns. By 1998, we were able to buy CCMI from him. I do enjoy this industry and the art of woodworking. Today, wood is our only natural, renewable resource. It a joy to take a tree and craft it into a beautiful piece of moulding that can be enjoyed in our everyday life. Wood is always different day to day. I enjoy the challenge of working different things everyday.

I try to deal with companies that are as much about trees as I am. I love working with my hands to take what God gave us and making something phenomenal with it. As a father, it is my desire to raise my sons to have a knowledge of the business and to have a healthy respect for such a beautiful resource. I am focused not just on a big, profitable company. Rather, I desire a legacy of stability, a respected name, and to set the standard by which any company can be modeled after.
