The Saber2000 Linear optimizer is state of the art millwork equipment. With an accuarcy of +/- .007 %, no other tool comes close to providing the customer with the highest stardards. Through a completly computerized process, the Saber2000 scans each board from end to end. During this preliminary scan, each defect in the board, such as knots, are stored in the computers memory. The computer calculates the best cut pattern for the board, producing the highest useable yeild for that board. Then the board is cut automatically. With the completion of each cut, a running record is maintained in the computers memory. At the end of run, a printout is produced showing the operator, and ultimatly the customer, the entire cut list, the gross material feed, the total of clear material, and the net material. No more wasted lumber.
