Our double head TimeSaver 36" wide belt sander handles the daily chore of smoothing out a variety of products from tabletops, doors, to butcher blocks. The maximum thickness that we can feed through is 8" and the minimum is 3/32". The primary advantage of choosing a commerical sanding machine over hand sanding or the standard home sand job is the ability to produce a uniform sand. The entire face of the board is sanded to the same thickness, an impossible task for the hand sand job.

The first belt has a coarse grit to sands off the bulk of the board. The second belt puts a fine finish sand on the board making it smooth. Both belts are 37" X 64" giving maximum effectivness to the sanding process. Each pass through the TimeSaver takes off a maximum of a .64" inch and the minimum achievable thickness is .015.
